DISCLAIMER: This class is separated into TWO (2) classes- grades 4-5 and grades 6-8. Your child will be put into one of these classes accordingly to their age. This introductory debate course teaches students the fundamentals of argumentation, public speaking, and respectful discourse. Through fun, age-appropriate topics and guided practice, students will learn how to form persuasive arguments, listen actively, and respond thoughtfully to opposing viewpoints. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, clarity, and collaboration as students develop essential skills for academic success and everyday communication. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy: * Bookings must be made at least two weeks (14 days) in advance of the session. * Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. * Confirmation emails will be sent upon successful registration. * If a program is full, you may join the waitlist and will be contacted if a spot opens. Cancellation & Refund Policy: * For paid programs, cancellations made 48+ hours before a session are eligible for a full refund or credit. * For paid programs, cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for refunds but may be rescheduled once if space allows. * For unpaid programs, cancellations can be made anytime before the program. * No-shows without notice are non-refundable and non-transferable. * To cancel or reschedule, please email us at civicvoicesinstitute@gmail.com. Waitlist Policy: * If a program is full, students can register for the waitlist at no cost. * Waitlisted students will be notified in the order received if a spot becomes available. * If a waitlisted student is offered a spot, they will have 24 hours to confirm before it is offered to the next person.
