Josh is passionate about traditional tech debate and forms of progressive debate, including theory and trix. This passion is something he wishes to pass on to his students. Most coaches shy away from teaching these topics due to its difficulty to teach but Josh doesn’t shy away from the challenge: determined to give his students an edge above the rest. His policy is active participation; encouraging every student to speak up and engage in class, no matter their skill. Josh strives to turn students not only into good debaters but better leaders. Students can expect classes to consist of visual aids and interactive sessions to deepen understanding.

Irene finds coaching to be most enjoyable when students are comfortable in their learning environment; thus, she ensures her class is a safe space for every student. Students can expect well paced instruction and active participation classes. Irene encourages every student to speak up and engage, no matter the current level they are at. She firmly believes that skill is made with practice and hard work, Irene strives to implement this mindset into all her students.
